Notice of Budget Commission Vacancy

The City of Nehalem is seeking applications to fill two vacancies on the Budget Committee.

The Nehalem Budget Committee is composed of the City Council and an equal number of citizens at large.  Budget Committee members are appointed by the City Council and serve 3-year terms.  The Budget Committee typically meets once a year in May.

Budget Committee members must be registered to vote and reside within Nehalem City Limits.  Appointed Budget Committee members may be reappointed for additional terms, at the discretion of the City Council. 

Interested citizens are encouraged to apply.  Applications are available at City Hall or online at nehalem.gov/bc-budget. Application deadline is noon on May 10, 2024. The City Council will make the appointment at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 13, 2024.
